Hi,
in theory, if the valve's infeed is after the blower then it shouldn't leak to atmosphere, so it shouldnt be an issue. But that depends on the type of blower you have fitted.
My setup uses the Rover stepper motor idle valve (same as the hotwire) and is fed by boosted air, but it leaked out of the actual body of the valve where its assembled. I coated it in silicon sealant
