Unfortunately the 23rd August clashes with a car show at Ipswich over the whole week end. I will not now be able to come. Any other dates planned please. Julian

Yes, I'm up for it. Still not sure if it will be the van or the Landie. But I'll be there.

Chris.

My Mate Ant wants to run his Mk2 golf 1.8T running megasquirt.
Not a V8 I know, but he does work on 800Bhp Monaros for his day job - so that sorta qualifies doesn't it?

lets see what v8's we get first Elliot,
as i have turned down 2 people already as they are not v8 powered,
and i thought that was one of the ideas of the session

BUT end of the day the last word is down to Perry as he has organised it,

Thanks for keeping up to date Tony. I suppose if we allow ourselves a cut off date of Mon 11th August for V8 entries, that will give nearly two weeks for non V8 guys to tag onto the list eh?

OR

Open the list to non V8's as soon as we hit 10 V8 entrants if that comes sooner. That seems fair doesn't it chaps?

That way we could end up with a nice mix of 4 pot screamers and V8 thumpers on the day.

why dont we add the non v8 cars to the reserved list for now then take it from there when we hit the cut off date yeah?
that way we wont get a sudden surge of non v8 cars wanting to go near the date,

Sounds good to me Tony.
Go for it.
I'm snowed under with lab fume hood probs at UCL at the mo so please keep the list up to date as you see fit. I'm hoping I can get a mate with his 427CI Cobra to join us as if he can.

I've had 3 enquiries for this day from MG Owners Club folk.
Any more V8's up for the day out?
Looks like we have 7 definates from here now. And three 4 pot motors waiting to join in. I'm off on hols next week for a 2 weeks. So I've provisionally told my MG chaps that they have a space. I guess its only fair now to let you lot open the entry book to any of your non V8 friends as I wont be around. I forgot about my hols!!!!
Martin often runs theses days with up to 30 cars, but if we can keep it to around 15-20 then we all get a chance at more runs on the day.
Any more V8's to add to the list??

Dave is possibly not back in the country yet and away from email while in the states.

My brother would be interested to bring his little rover if there is room.
