Megasquirt fault, any users on here?

People do run them with non-resistive plugs, I know that for a fact, but it does cause issues for some people 
I was under the impression, for best results, that you're not really supposed to use anything other than resistive plugs (BPR6ES in your case) plugs with megasquirt systems.
Stand to be corrected though, just something I've picked up from somewhere

Still not fixed
I've checked the wiring several million billion times, Bill's checked the ecu (all good) i've also checked to see if the ecu is making a circuit to ground the coils and therefore spark using a circuit tester and that also seems to be working yet to contradict that i've rigged up a know good single dizzy coil to the ecu wiring and that wouldn't create a spark yet i've wired that coil direct to 12v and made it spark but couldn't do that same to the 4 post ford coils i have (Phil reckons it should work) i'm going to be changing the plugs to resistor type and i've two more coils on the way to try also.
I'm not going to slag of a set of points for a while!
