What are specs of TVR type V8 engine in my Ginetta G33?

Most TVR400SE will produce 230-250BHP on the rollers. (so within 10% of quoted TVR figures)
Main mods was Ported heads, Better Cam, Higher compression, with flat pistons.

It seems difficult to find out the specs of my engine; the only way to kow i.e.what type of cam is being used seems to open up the engine. That is something I do not want to do without any serious reasons.

Well if your getting 240 from a 4.0, then it looks like its running fine, and as it should.

Indeed, the engine is fine now. However, reading articles about TVR 400 SE I noticed a power figure of 275 bhp is quoted for this type of engine ('(Budget) Blackpool Bombers - Buyers Guide' from Performance Car - July, 1994).
That would be my ultimate goal to reach for my engine.
Was it the same engine as used for the TVR V8S? Also a 4.0 liter engine, but there quoted as 240 bhp. In that case my engine performs as designed.

275bhp sounds a hell of a lot for a 4litre RV8!

As said this was for one that was new, all 400SE's are now at least 20 years old. Also TVR make sure everything was 100% on test engines, so most users cars was about 10% less. 275 was for the Andy Rouse 390's the 400SE was rated at 268 BHP.
The 4.0 V8 S engine was same and the Chim. and Griff 4.0 which was a LR 3.9 with a different cam and ECU timing.
The 4.0 400SE engine was a re-worked 3.5 and gave slightly more power. then the later 4.0 engine. but you had the option on 4.3 4.3 BV, 4.5 and 5.0 engines on the Chim and Griff.

One point I missed on the mods to the 400SE engine was the double valve springs.
