lol have a word mate! had one years ago and drove it to death = never again!
Nah, after the 'B is done (probably at least another year
) I quite fancy a little blatter for getting to work in over the country roads.
I need something small, light and daft. I found the answer in a Metro 6R4 replica lol!
Been looking into it and it doesn't look too bad - there's no way I'm going for a full on replica tho. Quite fancy sticking in a high power 1.4 R5GT engine (renault) - few of my friends have had plenty of R5 turbos and the engines are great, plus its cheap tax
Mind you a RV8 might just get shoehorned in . . .
just a pipe dream at the moment tho. A geezer near my parents did one with a turbo renault V6 in, looks amazing.

When my car was a 3.0 essex v6 i was searching around for bts and spotted some cork rocker cover gaskets, a pair for sale on ebay that went upto £15 ish. Knowing this i went straight into our parts dept (i worked in a Ford dealer at the time) got 10 pairs of gaskets for £1 each and flogged them for £50!!! Ebay rage as you say!
V8'less but a fountain of dorky knowledge ref v8's!
