No, I still have SU carbs on there, which are plumbed in for petrol.
However, there's a fault somewhere and they don't work properly. Not that it matters because I always start from cold on LPG and run on LPG all the time.

Hence the set of SU's I just purchased from you, to try and fix the petrol problem.

no injection wiring or airflow meter .....

took it for a 50 miles drive and it seems to run just fine , i have a better mixer on the way too
so that will be fitted tomorrow
i put the exhasut gas tester on and it reads about 1 1/2 to 2 % CO on tick over so not too far out

With your drive - did you notice any drop or extra performance?

Also were you able to ascertain if the fuel consumption was higher or lower than previous?

I must say I like this and it would make the GT40 look less cluttered.

Now a siamesed plenum and 2 mixers - more food for thaught!

Hi Ian , havn't really noticed any differance as yet ...but certainly no loss of pulling power
should beeven better once i fit the 10.5 pistons

the mixer on there at the moment is a bit of a bodge ( nothing wrong with that ..lol)
a flat plate in between 2 airflow meter ends ...i have got a proer one off ebay that should be heretomorrow and i'll do a proper MPG test then , it did around 15 mpg before so i'll let you know

it would look a lot better on the GT40 with no wiring hanging around the engine bay
i'm also thinking about removing the injectors too and blanking the holes
and that will mean i can get rid of the fuelrail too ..
whcih would leave it very clean

now it's time to remove the petrol tank and pump , might even replace it with an extra LPG tank , as a reserve with a seperate filler
