The bolts used for the main bearing caps in the cross bolted 4.0 and 4.6 blocks are high tensile and can be used for all applications. You can just buy new ones from Land Rover if you wish, or reuse the ones with the block.

Only the stretch bolts used for head retention can only be used once.

You don't need studs and nuts for these blocks as the caps are securely held by the block registers, unlike all the other Rover blocks.

Thats nice to hear! I dont suppose theres any point loctite'ing them in as that stuff breaks down with heat- so being stuck in an engine block...
