Honda NR 500 v4 engine (just for getting it to run!)
motoguzzi V8 500cc bike engine (loverly piece of engineering).
cadi northstar
Lsx series will be one for the future I think it will be made for decades.
but the SBC for shear number and longevety of design.

I'm surprised the ls1/6/7's aren't in there or the Cossie YB.
V8'less but a fountain of dorky knowledge ref v8's!
