1953 Ford F100 project
S10 with F100 on trailer the day we picked it up
Silver F100 done in states - this is roughly where we're heading
Our F100 as we got it
We also have a Jaguar XJR for the engine - basically a Ford Lincoln LS 4 litre V8 with an Eaton 112 supercharger stuck on the trop - with a minor tweak - 400 cheap & reliable horse.
Planning to use the trick 5 speed auto box as well as the ABS traction control and sport mode - front and rear suspension too.
It's going to be a long old project and it's not like I have nothing else to do.
I will try to keep adding pictures here as things progress but it will be slow.

You shouldn't have any trouble getting 400bhp out of the engine - My XKR is only just under this as standard. I'm sure you're aware that the standard chargecooler is at its limit, and changing the pulleys just makes this worse, plus doesn't really help with peak power (but makes loads of low down torque)
I will be watching this with interest (specially anything gearbox related with this engine).

55 truck and XJR
That's interesting to see another one being done - looks good with the roof chop
not sure I'm brave enough to do that.
The XJR info is good too - still have a lot to learn about these engines.
The charge cooler thing makes perfect sense - they do look restrictive.
Was just going to do the pulley on the charger then fit that on the other XJR we have (used when we need to look respectable)
Sounds like the truck might need some other tinkering to get the best out of it.

That truck looks just so nice !! Even as a rusty project sat on the trailer. It has so many nice lines and a lot of character. It will be one of those things to be seen in with your arm out of the window while cruising.

Couldn't have put it better."It will be one of those things to be seen in with your arm out of the window while cruising"
Decided to stop messing about with stuff you spend loads of time and money on, but is never worth what you spent never mind the time.
We know a song about that don't we Tone?
This should be worth what it costs to do with a bit of luck - already heading in the direction of 10 big ones.
Thankfully, the next big chunk is mostly time to do it rather than shelling out.
Just putting the front hubs together and sorting the brakes - should have some pictures soon
have BMW Brembo's on 355mm 370Z discs - large!
Just some of what we do
Wheels and brakes
Wheels - got quite lucky here - 7 1/2 x 18 - got all 5 for £550
Tyres were a different story - Bridgestone 225/40 well over £600 for the 4
Front brake setup - Jag hub with Nissan 370Z 355mm discs & BMW E38 calipers with spacers to take the thicker discs
