I got my old Rostyles fattened out to take some slicks for this year.

Del!
The guy can widen to whatever you need. And he's not that expensive either.
When they come back from power coating I may stick the rims on my mates wheel balancer and add some weld inside to get the rims to neutral balance before the tyres go on
I didnt want to add any width on the inside of the rims as I need to keep the right offset.

You've been on the paint thinners again!
First you get the wheels power coated and then you want to add weld beads!
Probably find it easier to do the other way around

Yes I have 10 inch on the rear of my car Ford fitment - weclome to try some time if you wnat to see if they will fit inside the bodywork
(They have 255 60 15 tyres on but not for sale but do come up reasonabkly often as people in GT40's upgrade)

Can alloys be widened as easily.
I could probably get hold of 4 TVR standard fronts cheap as people upgrade to bigger wheels to fit better rubber and bigger brakes.
They are 7x15. Maybe 4 could be cut and shut to make 2 10x15 ???
Hi
welding 3 inch strip ally to a cast ally wheel I think might be tricky as getting the right grade of ally for the strip may not be possable. Hacking up 4 wheels to weld back together solves the grade of ally problem, but you may have to cut each wheel into 3 bits and weld them back together to get enough width . . . personally once done I don't think I would want to drive around on them.
Best regards

I just need a pair for the drag strip.
15 x 10 with the right offset could be squeezed under my slightly modified rear arches. Then i could run a pair of 26x10's and try to snap my 'raceproved' driveshafts
There is a specialist company in Germany that can do a proper job on alloys but it aint that cheap. Popular with the GT40 guys
Try Image wheels in Birmingham. They will make whatever you want. Jason had his rears made there to suit all the dimensions he needed to get them under the escort. About £200 per rim + vat.

That aint cheap Pel. You sometimes forget I am a poor Northerner.
I will keep an eye on fleabay etc and see what might come up.
Otherwise i will just have to stick with 255s on 7.5j rims.
Its not ideal and i suspect is affecting the footprint and hence the grip
Hi
What bolt pattern are they? 4 or 5 stud what PCD?
Is it just ford 4 stud? on 108pcd? just there have to be loads of ex race and ralley car wheels for that set up, have you looked on Racecarsdirect.com ? Eurodradster? ebay?
