do they need changing every time the heads are off ???

:)

i have 10.5 pistons in my 3.5 would it be ok to use tin gaskets .. its on LPG always !

The SD1 BL manual says they can be re-used 3 times. Check them against one another for length. If more than two are found to be elongated, replace them all. If not, just those which are.

the other thing is .. on petrol this time ... ticks over fine ..then i rev it highish and it then stalls ...start again back to tick over ???

anything obvious to try ????

its a flapper efi :)

The tins verses comps is always coining up on the Cobra forum, in the end 'tins' wins possibly because the person asking the question won't get the heads skimmed.

My vote is for comps.

I have had tins fail a few times on LPG, but never the composite ones......
