Air intake trumpets

Post by Lord Steve »

I am rebuilding a 3.9 Rover V8 and am busy refurbishing components before re-assembly.
The air intake trumpets are set into an aluminium base and I wondered if anyone knows of a method of removing these so that I can clean and polish the whole assembly?

Thanks in anticipation

Steve

I used a gas torch to heat the base then the trumpets just pull out with pliars. Easier than I thought :D
