BMW 4.4ltr V8 into E36 Saloon..!

E34 V8 5speed is the same as a e36 M3 3.0ltr except for the front housing which includes the bell housing, I cross referenced all the part numbers, every thing except that casing are the same and I think it's only about £150ish to by, I was about go this route when I found the one.... and 400 mile round trip to get it......... It cost me more than my engine....!!!!LOL..

I am in the throws of fitting individual throttle bodies on her, should give it a bit more.... and as for the oil pump, I have the one and only jig for holding everything inline for welding the extension pieces in place.....

+1 for that oil pump mod. I was thinking of going the n62 way, and just getting the pump shaft machined, but yours is a tested and proven design (you also answer questions
) Sadly, after 140000 miles, the underside of my car is looking rather sorry for itself, so everything that can come of, is getting replaced or reconditioned, and any reinforcing kits welded on, then the engine swap
