Re what Badger says about oil being drawn into the manifold.

Unlike the SD1 rocker covers which have built in splash baffles, the P6B rocker covers don't have any baffling included as part of the covers themselves. Instead I believe there should be splash panels fitted on top of the rocker shafts, immediately below the two outlet pipes atop the rocker covers. These reduce the likelihood of oil being sucked up into the manifold.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct and where I can get some P6B splash guards for my rockers.

Hi. Your are correct about the splash panels fitted to the rocker posts.
However, if you are using a cam with a bigger lift than standard these splash guards may foul the rocker movement. They did on mine when I had a .48" valve lift cam fitted.

I've probably got one or two of these buried in a box somewhere but I recon you must be able to source some locally in Aus.
