Side exit manifolds for a Dutton/Seven type car.
Hey can anyone tell me where I could find a set of equal length manifolds (side exit) to suit my dutton b+? As cheap as possible, probably 2nd hand. I have been keeping an eye out on ebay for ages but with no real luck. Anybody any ideas? Oh its for a rover v8 I suppose that may be a slight 'critical detail'.

I would have thought you would need to have them made especially for your build up but that's quite a lot of money. Is there a Dutton owners club to ask?
Richard.

There is an owners club - but technically they are hopeless - I have had two V8 duttons - an S1 and a B+ that I rebuilt and redesigned in almost every aspect. There is a bit of it on here.
Anyway back to exhausts - as above - no two Duttons will have the engine in the same position and the Dutton is wider at the nose and the engine is generally further back in the chassis ( early Duttons) than any other Seven type so the pipes will have to be custom made - not worth the effort or cost - I used block hugger types and ran twin pipes under the car with rear exit - cheap to do, no issues with ground clearance and twin rear exit always sounds far better than side exits.
