Here's my good old Opel.
My first engine project was a 2.2 4cyl CIH with Rotrex compressor 1 bar boost pressure and with Megasquirt engine management.
It went pretty well
But I would rather have the sound of a v8 engine, so last winter I began building a Rover V8 engine in.
A 3.5 EFI is converted to 3.9 still with megasquirt management and MSD wastetspark.
Huge work and build it into my car, many hours of work, but it has since been starting up now
Yes there is still much to do, and many wires to be stored away.
And it must have a second Camshaft, the standard sounds too dull. "boring" at idle.
