Highpower Maximiser S/H cost?

Post by IainB »

More of a general question, so didnt put it in the Nitrous section!
Anyone know how much a second hand Highpower Maximiser is worth?
I know the new ones are cracking on £500 - but am considering selling mine (thus killing my chances of going N20) to put funds towards a turbo or 2
Cheers
Iain

A Maximiser - I have one here and just trying to work out what its worth, trying to do costings between going N2O (spider plate, 2 fuel solenoids + maximiser controller) or blown...and if it is worth something (the maximiser), putting the money towards hairdryers.... you know me, never happy

You know, I might just do that.....run N/A to get some seat time, then when I have the money go blown or gas..... I need to make up my mind, then stick to the plan and NOT deviate

Nope, this is the now 'old' Maximiser, though it should still do what I want it to do, as I wont be going smoooooth for a long time

Ian
Talk to Trevor Langfield at WON. He will either make you an offer or tell you roughly how much it would be worth. As I am upgrading my system, Trev has offered to buy back my plate with 4 crossfire injectors at not a lot less than I paid for it, when I decide to by the Spider plate.
He might make you a decent offer if you decide to upgrade. Worth a phonecall.

Looks like the controller will be staying (and its the race version....woot!) just bagged myself a kit and one of the new style bottles for not a lot of cash....all I need now is a plate system or the spider - budget system or what 8-)

mgbv8 - if you dont mind me asking, how much is your plate going for?
