As mentioned in another thread, I have a 3,9 Range Rover which needs a bit of TLC. I have another 3,9 in the garage, which only needs a new waterpump. I thought about upgrading the camshaft thoug.
Then I came across a salvage yard, who has a LSE 4,6 litre standing, with 105.000km on the clock.
How much work is it to swap the 3,9 for this engine? I think I figured this much out :
Sump and oil pickup pipe from 3,9.
Serpentine front end from 3,9 - if I continue to drive EFi? Does it run well with the 3,9 EFi? Or would it be easier to maintain the 4,6 standard injection?
Thanks in advance for the help.
