Bosch 330cc injectors

Post by jsstevo1 »

Hi there,
I'm looking at buying some Bosch 330cc injectors and wondered if they will clip straight into a 14CUX wiring loom? Anyone know?

Also will they work with a standard 5.0L TVR 14CUX ECU or will we need to run a aftermarket ecu such as a Megasquirt?

Cheers

Are these replacment standard injectors or a higher capacity injector?
Has the ECU you have been modified to fuel the 5 litre engine??

Our system is a standard 3.9 Hotwire system without cats, standard injectors, etc. We have a 4.6 V8 with high performance cam. We stuck a TVR 5.0 none-cat ECU on it and all's run well. We're looking to run Megasquirt soon but will be using standard loom and want to be able to run the 5.0 ECU until we change.

I was thinking of buying the ones here.....

I think standard injectors for the rover are 27lb/ hour, you are putting in something around 32lb hour so it will over fuel about 15%, but the ecu you have is mapped for an engine about 8% smaller so in theory you should be close enough to run, just a bit on the rich side. I will need a proper ecu later but should run for now.
