Laurent,

Is that a 3.5 Hotwire or flapper system, I'm not sure they are the same dimensionally at the join between the trumpet base and the plenum perhaps some one can chip in and confirm.

None of the standard Rover EFI systems will fit under a standard MGB bonnet and the usual thing to do is to machine down the trumpet base and the plenum.

Alternatively you can get a good quality MG RV8 bonnet with the bulge for the EFI from Honeybourne Mouldings for a reasonable £90.00

If you want to fit an ACT plenum I assume the engine has been modified to flow alot more than standard, otherwise your wasting your money apart from the under bonnet look.

Kevin.

Just call Tim at ACT, he's a very helpful chap.

I've not seen any that are higher, just bigger in plan due to the adapter plate....
... but there are several versions of plenum & I guess you need to identify the one you are talking about.

I have a trumpet base and a hotwire plenum lid (which is the same height as the flapper one).
where do you want the measurement between?
