hi all,
ive just removed my clutch, which was a borg/beck, and im now fitting a ap,
but have noticed that the spline thickness on ap is 35mm,and the borg/beck is 30mm ,will this cause a problem(measurement is from one side of plate to other side, and not across hole) thanks...

Probably. I had a similar problem from a T5 box expecting an AP clutch but swapping to an engine with a Borg & Beck clutch.
You need to measure from, say, the face of the block to the clutch fingers that the relaese bearing sits on / touches. If the same then OK, else problem. In my case the clutch slipped as in effect slave cylinder was depressing the clutch 5mm or so.
