judging by the numbers these are either SD1 or later range rover heads, can anyone tell me from the pics weather they have the cut outs for the injectors, and maybe the 30 back cut valves?
if they dont is it still possible to fit an injection manifold?
also can someone confirm its ok to blank off the extra holes in the head as the block is only 10 stud? cheers.

TVR ported heads

They will be EFi heads from TVR. They look like post 92 heads which TVR always skimmed & fitted composite gaskets (before LR did it).Yes you can just fill the outer holes no problem.
An upgrade to larger 1.63/1.4" valves costs very little, just the valves + seat cut, the expensive guide work & porting will already be done.
TBH I'd always use that spec of heads to convert to the UBV, the castings are very good (particularly where you cut in to it for enlarged seats - which can be a weakness in the later heads) and that era of TVR porting is generally of a very high standard. It's hard to tell for sure without hands on, but they look like decent heads from the TVR 430 or 400HC range @1992-4 to me. Much of the internal porting is to the same spec as the UBV heads (aka TVR BV heads ie 1.69/1.5" valves)

No prob at all, most people only use the 10 bolts anyway now even if they have 14. The outer row of bolts tends to pull the heads and promote uneven clamping force making head gasket problems likely.Ralphh85 wrote:i dont have them yet, they have been offered to me, if i buy them i will measure them, an calculate head skim from there.
more i think i probly will go for them, is there any problem at all with bolting 14 stud heads to a 10 stud block? i see in pics often with 14 stud heads with the extras just blanked off?
