TVR 5.0L Cam profile

Post by daxtojeiro »

Hi all,
Im after the angle that the intake valve opens and closes on a TVR 5.0L.
Im in the middle of fitting sequential fuel and sequential ignition (COPs) to mine and need the angle for working out when to fire the fuel in,
cheers
Phil

Won't you need to fine tune anyway? they just start to open around 20BTDC on exhaust stroke IIRC but its only a miniscule opening on the overlap. I never figured if injecting after this was better (in the main fresh air pulse) but I guess a lot still depends on your plenum or TB arrangement.

ETA: call/mail Dom I'm sure he'll tell you, but with all the "is it worn, is it really a 435M, do I suck & see different timings" it may just end up being an interesting bit of reference info..
