3.9EFI Head Heights

Hi,

Soon to be fitting a pair of 1989 3.9EFI heads to my Rover P6. After skimming, the heights measure .932" and 2.495".

Anyone know the original head heights of these? I've found dimensions for the later (smaller c.c.) heads of .903" and 2.463" from the gasket face to the machined faces.

Hello Stan,

When new, the heights are,....0.940" and 2.500".

The reface limit is 0.02" from the new dimension.
