John,

I was more curious about how the dizzy is driven, car looks impessive and expensive, do you know what class it runs in and where.

Hi Kevin,
Steve Green has been drag racing his Cortina MK1 for years, first time i saw it was red and all steel but now fully framed race car in blue,he has run in lots of classes including super pro et running low 8 seconds and i am sure has dipped into the high sevens  The car sounds like no other Rover V8 completely awesome as is the build and engineering on this car. Seen him at a few Peak Performance RWYB days as well. Does enjoy lifting a wheel or two when launching :D

Another gent raced a similar spec engine supplied by ICE based on a Wildcat Rover V8 was Tim Garlick in a Cortina MK3 this was even quicker, running mid 7 second runs in Super Mod.

Kevin, I think it is just a right angle drive on the dissy- though admitadly I have not seen them properly before either!

I like the water swirl pot- though some of the problems Rover had were with the top hose pointing downwards weren't they? So with the hot water going in to the top of the pot and out the bottom is it not a similar situation?!

Hi Eliot,
How about this one, sorry hav'nt got a better picture of the manifold itself
Used to live in the front Tim Garlicks Super Mod Cortina MK3, based on a Wild Cat Rover V8 but breathed heavy on by I.C.E. As you can see running a dual hollies (although poss a split dominator rings a bell :?: )! and a fair amout of N2O 8) This was and to the best of my knowledge the fastest Rover V8 over 1/4 of an mile. Was sold on Fleabay in 2007 for a fraction of the cost to build and develop.
