seems like the right place to ask on another engine code, rather than starting a new thread
i picked this engine up a wee while back cheep, and for some reason it makes me think its ainchient
anyway i'm at the point now where i need to get ordering parts and i'm not sure on the age of it
the block reads cr9.35:1 and 11A57052
who knows where it came from, and what age it is?
help apreceated George

thanks! i gather it wont matter that its a auto engine, when i intent to use it with a manual box. it came without a flywheel so, a flywheel, clutch, and lt77 is on the shopping list. as long as it all go's together
call me dippit, but i'm new to v8's, and i'm sure theres loads of things that dont go together! better asking and getting it right first time.
cheers George
also does it matter that my engine number dosent end with 1A as the engine charts? infact it dosent have any letter at the end only numbers

For £95 you can have a 3.9 which with a chem clean, new rings and bearings will last for ages and perform well. With a decent cam and heads you could have over 200bhp and alot more torque to play with.
There just so happens to be one in the classifeds section which now comes with a free sd1 front cover with fairly new oil pump gears too. . . . . .

V8'less but a fountain of dorky knowledge ref v8's!
