Megasquirt IAC & IAT stuff placement

Post by kev_the_mole »

With the inlet pipe for the IAC and the IAT sensor can I just drill/punch some holes through the baseplate of my K&N??

I know it's probaly not ideal but I'd like to keep the under bonnet look standard(isH) :D

Cheers,

Ian

Thats pretty much how i done mine.
I tee'd it into the rocker breather pipe, which then attaches to the underside of the pancake filter. I also added another hole underneath the pancake filter for the air temp sender.

I dont actually have and idle control valve now anyway, as i need to keep the noise down as much as poss with my moaning neighbor.

It really makes that much difference??

Then what you need is a gear cam drive to add that authentic NASCAR whine to his auditory woes!
