Is this up your street Bill or a bit too boxy? I quite like it! I found it while looking for an old volvo to use as a parts chaser/wagon for a while until it starts threatening to cost me money, at which point I plan to pinch the axle and any other useful bits then bin the rest. If anyone sees a 1990 740 GLE 16v estate with t+t for peanuts please let me know.

Hi Marcus, looks like an excellent parts hauling sh*tbox : ) Wonder what the reserve is though. There's usually a fair few sh*tter Ovlovs round here for around £5-600, one of them might have my name on it...
Quite hearse-like, that one isn't it
Why does that appeal. Must've run out of the tablets again.

I just like the look of it, the grill is nice but from behind it does just look like any other volvo. The 'extra' pillar in the rear side window is quite amusing, talk about a cluttered look. If I do get one it'll be a much later one with the axle I want in it (4.10). I just picked up a gennie volvo axle service manual for the 1030 and 1031 axles which is in amazing condition and a mine of info. PM me your address if you want me to send you a copy.
