A friend on Malta tried some big Venom injectors.....He said they were great if you wanted a blown engine.
An American friend said similar....

Dont know if that only relates to their big injectors....or all of them.

But at 30lb, thats only a little over 320cc or so ?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-Ford ... 0019796069

If you get them for the starting price.....it isnt that much more expensive than the Venoms.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/42LB-42- ... .m20.l1116

These ones look cheap....as far as I know, Racetronix only sell decent stuff.

Or on sale...

Its either 3.5 or 4.5% import duty. Then VAT at 17.5% on purchase price including shipping costs ( yes, what a rip off )

Depending on courier, they can also add a handling fee....usually no more than £15
USPS/Parcel Force seem to charge a flat rate of £13.50 on anything I get shipped via them...which on small cheap stuff, makes it a rip off too.

As a very rough rule of thumb. If its $400 total ( including shipping ), you'll end up paying close to £40.

And they tend to be a lot slower to deliver than they might claim.....

Dont forget.....duty etc is calculated on the declared value......although some vendors are quite strict on that.

Tony,

How about these from Summit, they are rated at 30lb which may be enough for your puposes. They do have an extensive range rated at 14.4 ohms do may have something that meets your requirement at a reasonable price.

Just tracked my order from Summit by priority post, despatched 31-1-08 now at British customs for onward despatch, thats pretty quick but I suspect it slows down at this end!

42lbs arent big by any means. But they are big enough to satisfy almost any rover V8.

The Racetronix ones that were on sale are about the cheapest so far.
