They're on top of a 5.0 Griff engine making 372bhp at the wheels.
V8'less but a fountain of dorky knowledge ref v8's!
Ooo thats nice. I want to add that to my manifold archive - any idea who to credit?

Pity he closes it in with the plenum top!
Now fit some trumpets and that would look nice under the GT40 rear glass!

Interesting set-up. Looks cool, but what is the benefit?
It is still a plenum system although with a fancy throttle.
I assume this has not got the benefit of the single throttle per cylinder as it still takes the air from the same plenum?
There must be a benefit in doing it like this, I just fail to see or understand it.
As for 372HP at the wheels, what is the engine spec? It must be something spectacular as most TVR 5 make about 100BHP less than that.

It has individual tb's but I don't see how they can be adjusted to each other. As anybody who has used tb's or multi carbs know if you cant adjust them to each other you can get a very rough tick over and an engine that sounds like an armadillo in a dustbin. This wont effect top power to any great degree but low rpm can be a real problem. Have spent many an hour with vacuum gauges tuning these things on bikes
