Hi I’m Matt, all the way from New Zealand, I have joined to learn more about the Thor engines, currently own the 4.0 fitted to a Discovery 2. Been working a lot to bring it back up to a reliable standard.
Also here to track down a flywheel, I have a R380 box ready to go in but the missing a flywheel which seems to be near impossible to get. Any help would be extremely appreciated.
Cheers team
Matt

The crank signal pick up is unique on this flywheel for the Bosch system

Re: On the hunt for the elusive Thor flywheel
Looking at images, the drillings although a little odd, I still see it as a 58-2 trigger ?
Wouldn't be too hard to run a normal flywheel and add a 58-2 wheel to the front pulley and run off that
ALthough there are some on ebay
