I'm not surprised with ECP. Their website makes it very difficult to find anything which doesn't tie into your car reg number, etc. And it doesn't recognise the number of my SD1. So for generic things like anti-freeze, oil, batteries etc, they must loose a lot of sales.
I have my own trade log on to ECP and its still shite :x I seldom use it anymore they have good stocks but the staff are useless at times and its drivers end up getting it in the neck I am not guilty of this fortunately 8-)
And I thought it was just me - checked in all their stores withing 10 mile radius and per interweb no oil in any of their stores - but I can pay a premium and they will deliver it to me - great - commute to London and car in Surrey - they need a signature and I'm not there!

I even tried Coctco on the offchance - loads of oil but nothing in the 20w50 range - only thin stuff

Guys, the ECP website can be laborious to use but if you call them direct/or your local ECP store they often have much greater availability listed on their product database...and surprised they've stopped supplying VR1. I've used Opie Oils for a good number of years now; not always as low priced as ECP but Opie's stock availability is very good.

If you google, you can usually find discount codes for opie, might get 5-10% off.
