SD1 Radiator

Hi everyone

I have been having issues with cooling in my SD1. Running a 3.9 RV8, fast road cam and a whole bunch more. Its running too hot, even with a 82* high flow thermostat.

My question: Is the factory Radiator used in Sd1 efficient? and does anyone know where aftermarket radiators can be sourced which fit the old Sd1 and are bigge than the original, giving better cooling?

First thing to look at is how old is your radiator and what condition is it in. Radiators loose their efficiency as they get older so if your is old all you might need to do is put a new one in.

Well i got the rad from some fella a while back when I was swapping out the old auto bits for a manual set up.

Even though it "looked" to be in good condition I guess you never know untill you see inside it. I have sent it off htis morning to be tested and if required, re-cored.
