V8 Water Capacity

anyone know about how much water a rover V8 holds in its coolant system? roughly?

16 Litres in the GT40 - but that is mid engine with long pipes to front radiator

Owner of an "On the Road" GT40 Replica by DAX powered by 3.9Hotwre Efi, worked over by DJ Motors. EFi Working but still does some kangaroo at low revs (Damn the speed limits) In to paint shop 18/03/08.

mines same, mid engined, i know my pipes hold about 4L, not sure about the rad/engine tho.

i think its about same capacity. pipes are 29mm ish ID

16L, wow, mines about 5 - 6L or just less than a square washing up bowl :lol: Thats in a front engined Dax Rush.

My SD1 takes 11 litres including heater and expansion tank. The rad on its own approx 3 litres.

So a guess would be approx 7 litres for just the engine and hoses.

Range Rover 4.6 P38 takes 11.3 litres.
