I am in the process of overhauling my spare brake booster for my Rover P6B.
The slave cylinder has been previously resleeved, and I have the genuine Lockheed kit for the complete assembly.
My question though relates to the condition inside the vacuum chamber.
The was quite an amount of corrosion which has now been removed, but I fear that if I leave the surface bare without any form of protective coating, the same will happen again.
Should the inside surface be painted? If so, what type of paint is resistant to brake fluid? Or should the surface just be left bare metal?
Any thoughts wil be highly appreciated.
Ron.
