3.5 to 3.9

Gents,
After your opinions please. I'm taking the engine out of my TVR 350i for a rebuild.
I have a 3.9 short block in the garage.

3.5 is 9.75:1 CR
3.9 is 9.35:1 CR.

Question I have is, if I swap everything over to the 3.9 block will I get a performance improvement, will the extra cc's offset the slightly lower CR?
