That was painfull???

I really dont like this welded diff. Mine is on the trailer now with about 6 attempts to line it up for the ramps.

I reckon you lot are going to piss yourselves laughing at me shunting my MGB tomorrow

I'm really looking forward to seeing your motor Eliot. It looks cool mate.

I've spokne to my mate Ian (who is building his 200 mph MG Magnette) and he will be doing the bacon butties. His MG will be in one of the units nearby. Possibly the body shop ig anyone want to have a look. Also, have a look at Pauls Trike if his unit is open.

Right!!
I have a hot shower and 6 ice cold bottles of beer waiting.

If its anything like a megasquirt - which I believe it is, you put your foot to the floor which engages floodclear mode, which doesn't fire the injectors.
So its foot to the floor and crank until it starts - we did it on a tvr grif 500 a while back, certainly made everyone jump!

Late at work

Got home and checked oil and water - water down a bit - but I think a hose clip was loose - too later to run to temp so another car is "hopeful" - hell I'll get there!

After that I gave a wash / polidh and leather over so really shiny now.

But engine bay could be cleaner - that's what happens over 500 miles!

500 miles Ian!!!

You lucky bugger... I've not got more than 100 miles on mine before rebuilding this last 12 months

But now my ring gaps are sorted thats should be more like 1000 miles before I blow it again with a bit of luck.

So who is going for broke tomorrow??

I would like to do my first run off gas to see what she does. Then run 2 at 100hp. Run 3 at 150 hp and run 4 at 200 hp of gas.

Should be a bit of fun eh?
