Ian A..
If you are coming from Ashford Middx. Why dont you come up the M40 to J9, then turn right on the A421. Its one road all the way to Bletchley from there, and possibly shorter than the M1 route.

On a similar theme
What is used to "tie" the car down
Do I need tow hooks? None fitted at present!

I'm looking forward to this and being able to put names and faces together

If you have tow eyes then bring them. Otherwise Martin will strap onto whatever he can to hold the car down. And he normally has a fat bloke to sit in if required :D

Getting close to the big day now!!!

I havent even taken the cover off my car since last weeks outing.

Work is off the scale at the mo, so I'll bunk off early on Friday to go and pick up the trailer.
I'll just bung all my stuff in the back and do my tweaking on Saturday now.
The only thing I have done is fill one gas bottle.
I'm hoping to exceed 280bhp though. I made 257bhp last year.

I'm going to get there about 7.30am so I can find a space for the truck and trailer and unload mine.

Please be patient when I have to move my car around. The welded diff means I have to do 18 point turns now

Stop

You are going to make the 40 look bad! 2 weeks back did Liverpool and Back 500 miles so I've got 500 miles of bugs and road grime / and probably 50 gallons of Liverpool rain in mine!

Need to give her a wipe down this evening - then fill the fuel tank tomorrow on the trip!

I need as many pics and vids as poss please folks.
I'll also be handing out forms for you all to fill in so we know about your individual vehicles build and history etc.

Then when I get all the pics and info collated, I will be submitting articles to two car mags so we can show how our home brews did on the day.

I'm only just in from work, so now its time to upset the neighbours by warming her up before I stick it on the trailer. :D

See you all in the morning come rain or shine eh boys?

PS
Tony
I've got a full bottle on board, and I'll stick my 2 spares in the truck and weigh them tomorrow. I'm sure there is 2-3 lbs left in each which you can stick on yours if you want.
