Had a brilliant day at York Dragway today. Great company, great racing.
I won in NSCC and the final race was epic. Up against the awesome Cortina of Ian Walley in the final i threw caution to the wind and gave it everything i had. The result speaks for itself.
and Ive been aiming for this for years! http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topi ... 20recorded

Very Well Done Del
You have put the time and effort in for a good while now. And you have got the reward you deserved !
Its a shame about the suspect piston, but that is easily sorted mate. Time to go forged I think. The MGB ran 10.4's all day long with a 250 shot on Omega's with stock rods and crank. Until I broke a rod with a 300 shot.
Then I fitted Chevy rods and ran a 175 shot + 12psi of boost and then came the mid 9's all day long You still have room for improvment mate.
Regards
Pel
