Well i tried another edis specific msq and also downloaded the extra version of megatune and its all fallen into place! It ran really rather well plus it was good to see everything working as it should inc my lc1 which i was bothered about but that read the same on mt as it did on the a/f guage i have in the car and my other wideband meter (my nose) confirmed also that the lc1 was reading correct! It looks as though i just need to get some insurance now and get on the road and start tuning as i can see now't else holding me back except for the xbox 360 i bought today! Oooooo theres gonna be some late gaming nights soon!

Ps, i'm not going to go down the supercharger route for the other engine now, too much agro to make the space for it down the side of the engine. It will fit down there but there no room for an outlet for the blower. I would nee to chop alot out of the inner wing to space the blower away from the engine to make the necc room so sod that basically and i shall build the 4.6 up as a high c/r n/a engine using the inlet i have now. Anyone want an eaton supercharger?

That's a shame but that hi-po 4.6 will be a real street sweeper anyway

Will keep the engine bay lookin' super clean and workable as well like that 8-)

Just to be on the safe side of reliable i've ordered some Accel 4 post replacement Edis/Ford coils from summit. They offer improvements over the standard coil but at half the price of new ones from Ford so i thought i'd go for it!

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... ACC-140018

I've also ordered some leads from the chap advertising in the forum discounts section.

http://www.fuelcat.co.uk/formulaPower.html

Made to order to suit my ford coils on my rv8.

Well its all coming along nicely, still waiting for the v5 to come back so i can tax the blasted thing!

I've sorted several small things so hopefully when i come to use it i shouldn't haev to keep an eye on too much although i'm still very very tempted to get a bigger rad for it, maybe an ally item intended for a cosworth for piece of mind.

I've also ordered an Alpine stereo intended for ipod use as i'm fed up with scratching my cd's in the carwhich along with my new front speakers and some rewiring for the rear speakers and amp should produce some good quality sounds, the sound is as important as the go in my book! Can't beat freebird on a warm summer evening with a v8 baseline!

Wooooo I'm on the road! V5 arrived today so i taxed it and now its sat outside with a slowly growing pool of oil under neath DAMMIT!

So i need to fix the oil leak from the engine and one from the pas, probably a new rack knowing my luck and also build another gearbox crossmember as the one i made yonks ago is poo.

I'm hoping its the crossmember thats giving the axle tramp like bang when i give it some gas otherwise i'll be getting a set of anti tramp bars soon. . . .

It drives ok upto 3k ish on the map i got from kev and using is AE settings although it does die a bit before recovering after revving it up in neutral, decay setting i think. I've alot to learn again!

I think though i may just lock it in the garage and have a couple of weeks off from it and have some "normal person" weekends as its taken up all my spare time for quite a while now.

I was looking at getting a set of those Toyos too, to go on my new Revos.

Heard very good things about them, I'd love to see what they're like in the wet though.

Looks great the car, and the motor, excellent work! 8-)
