i have tried to complete some jobs in this cold weather

fitted new thick radiator and refitted the cooling fans back to it.

changed the engine oil and filter, it maybe overkill as less than 3000 miles a year is not a lot of miles yearly.

2010 season end

fitting new supercharger and trigger wheels kit. ECU etc, in tank fuel pump etc....
maybe out for 2011 during refurb work

You aint on your own Trick!!
I've done bugger all as well :)
Although I did speak to the machine shop an hour ago to find he actually had one of my wheels on his rotary milling lathe flypress turntable wotsits in order to start re milling the rims to MGB stud pattern :)

This was going to be a quick "£80 in your back pocket job" but he just told me he's made up a bush of some sort and done a cad drawing or something. I think I'll be getting a much bigger bill than I expected :(

I only wanted 8 holes drilled. But I suppose he is doing it the right way eh? I didnt want to risk doing it on my £30 pillar drill

absolutely nothing due to complete lack of funds and too many other expensive hibbies lol. If I'd not built my new downhill bike (pedal) I probably could have afforded to pay someone to finish the MG! As it stands, come febuary it'll be 12months since I last worked on the MG

Good news for me!!
The rims only cost 60 notes in the end.
So the tyres are now fitted and the rims are on the car. I did have to get the grinder out to get them in the arches though.
So today i decided to finish work and get something done to the car. I got home at 8pm, peeing down with rain, looked at the car and thought sod it !!
I'll play tomorrow :)[/url]

Well, like most I haven't got the enthusiasm to do stuff but... I'm in the workshop in the morning to strip and re-grease both hubs and do the tracking on the front axle of the bobtail then "pop over" and sort out one of my MegaSquirt conversions that is playing up. It's the TIP122 that's squiffy so I will cut the old one out and solder the new one in then try and get home before dark..... I love V8's..

I should get on with the car I can't talk about here, but tinkering with the Griff is always a bit more fun. ;)

Tony - how about I kick you to get the mechanical bits done so I can play with the electronics a bit ;)
