I'm selling the cam and lifters + modified heads from my spare Rover V8.
Its a real steel turbo / blower cam + lifters (with only 3 hours use) + a pair of 4.6 heads with the guides machined down and push on seals fitted + all the Real Steel valve kit which is the double valve springs + caps and collets.
This was the kit we put onto Jasons Escort. But he's not racing the Frankenscort anymore. So its coming apart now for sale.
The cam and lifters are in as new condition with no werar marks. The lifters have been bagged and numbered to each lobe on the cam. I always use hi zinc comp cams oil additive so the cam and lifters look spot on.
I'm also selling the Cloyes cam chain kit with the cam kit.
The parts and head work to the valve guides to take the lift cost me £794.00
I'm thinking a sensible price to sell this lot for will be £450.00
Any thoughts chaps?
It would be a good upgrade to a 4.6 and it would light up a 3500 Rover V8
Is £450 too much? Should I ask for £400 ?
