My 3.9 RV8 buggy has been stood for 2 months as I took an extended holiday. Before I went I was sure that it was not running perfect but I couldn't put my finger on why. Got it out for a run today and it was down on power and I could feel/hear a very slight miss fire nothing really bad but it's probably 4 times worse than when I left it.
Can anybody recommend a RV8 specialist in the West Midlands who would be able to diagnose the problem and give me an idea of the condition of the engine. I could then make a short term decision on what to do with the engine.
If the engine was diagnosed with only minor problems I would then have them sort the issues and give it a good service.
It has an MOT in the morning, so I hope that the emissions won't be affected
