Contact at DVLA

Post by Wotland »

Hi,

someone here has a good contact name at DVLA ?

I bought a car in UK and it is now here.

V5C/4 was sent to DVLA and I have the rest of V5.

But there is a problem with chassis number. There is an error on V5. One letter is wrong.

It is a problem here for customs and registration.

I think DVLA can send me a new V5 with correct chassis number.

I tried their website and sent message with their website but it doesn't work.

Thanks for your help.

Don't email them Dimitri, ring them if you have to.

If it is just one letter wrong the you should be able to get a new V5, however you may have to pay the DVLA charge (I think this is about £20) or an admin fee ....
RIP MGB V8 .... served me well as a learning curve.

R32 Skyline V8 .... this one is gonna be a monster!
