2mm Aluminium Sheet

wheres the best place to get some ally sheet cheap?
after some 2mm to make an air box for the air filter to keep it a bit cooler,
and run a cold air feed from the front again,
Car ran a lot better with the old enclosed filter where it was drawing cold air from the front,

What sort of dimensions? My NDN has a sideline making ally stuff. He may have some offcuts.

Depending on size I either use eBay or click metal on the Web. There is also a local supplier but only if I need full sheets.

Bound to be a few metal fabricators local to you if you ask about for some offcuts.

Although full sheets of the stuff arent that expensive, and always handy to have bits lying about

Metals 4u, but to make them worthwile you need to order more than £75 worth, then they deliver for free and it makes theim cheep. they also do CDS at good prices. Small quantities I use ringwood sheet metals off ebay
