Pre 72 Landy

Post by gelmonkey »

Hi all
Have not been around for a while because of work but had a conversation with a guy today who wants if possible a pre 72 landy for off roading etc and want s to know what sort of money they are going for.
He is not closed to other types of LR but a 72 is the ideal.
Does anyone have one for sale ?

cheers
P

PS I bloody hate boats and all things fibreglass

Hi Paul,

I paid £200 for mine, but it is very rotten! A land rover only garage I went to yesterday had a couple of very good S2A's in and were a couple of grand. He's probably best to just keep an eye on eGay for a local bargain.

Hi Tom
Thanks for that info.
Do you have a number for the guys close to you please?
My buddy is not averse to travelling as there is little or nothing down here apparently.

cheers

I've been on the lookout for an offroad landy for a while as I've always fancied one, I've found that ebay is the best bet for prices as there is always a few on there. I usually search for "comp safari" and "land rover hybrid" for the more specialist stuff. A 100" one would be a great all rounder if you can find one.
RIP MGB V8 .... served me well as a learning curve.

R32 Skyline V8 .... this one is gonna be a monster!

Paul, I use RST Land Rovers in Mersea here, they only have a few various vehicles in stock usually. You'd definitely get a better deal on ebay though.
