Forum slow?

Post by DaveEFI »

Is it just me, or has the forum been very slow over the past few days?

Does seem slow on & off today. Most likely something up with the hosting company, but I've run a procedure just now which might (or not) make a difference.

Looks like a "not" ... Going from OK to slow off & on. Will follow up with our hosting company, it's not just our site it seems.

Hi Chaps
are you sure it is just this forum? just everything I try and access today seems to be taking a long time to update/navigate, Summitt is pants, jegs not good, wild bunch slow HRE.con sleepy, deathlist forum certainly bit peaky. . .
Best regards

Hi Mike, other places do seem OK from here at work, but V8 is definitely a couple of pots down - suspect our host has some hardware issue going on. My Magic Hammer didn't work, so reckon it's the hosting company having troubles.

Na its running pretty slow at times for me again. It feels like it is the DB server that is slowing the site down.

Odd. Just now nice and fast, then a bit slow again. Will see if T can raise it with Vortech.

we went through this before a few years ago and it was the DB server although it was a lot worse than it is right now. Its still more than usable just not what we are used to these days.
