i likes a lot, i take it you use a hilux conversion in your surf?

thanks. but its all home built,the gearbox is a borg warner c63,this drives the rear wheels only,all the transfer case has been removed as is the front drive train.its about 300kg lighter now. :lol:

Really like the engine bay and the colour of the ancillaries.

Good also to see a member on the forum from down home in Daaarset. That makes two of us :D :D :D

I like the new look surfenstein !! It is a lot difrent to when i last saw it on the surf forum, Have you posted us pictures up on there yet ?? Or am i just a little blind and not seen them !!
Are you any closer to sorting the 5ltr out yer ?? Or are you still running the 3.9 ??
Was Rover v8 10.7@122mph, 0-60-3.01sec
Now Blown BigBlock Chevy 9.9@134 upto now on low boost.

Like it!!!! one thing I want to ask though........ why have you got induction snorckles up the A pillars, then a seperate air induction box in the engine bay???? or are the pics from different stages in the project??

Surfenstein, that is a beast. I wouldn't mind watching and hearing that from behind at the lights.

I'm brand new here after tripping and falling in from an engine swap search. Yorkshire man with basic mechanical knowledge waiting for my mk1 2.0 4wd hilux to arrive from SA.
I'm intending on spending some money on it to make it my pride and joy. Is a rover v8 swap fiezable with the early model like Ive baught?
