Do you need a flywheel?
Let me know as might be able to help you out.
What brakes you fitting as a friend of mine is building a V8 moggy and has loads of info on what fits what or are you sorted already?
Not normally a nosey bar steward just trying to help :)
Have you radiused the rear arches?
So many questions already.
Cheers
Paul

i need a rover flywheel the guy supposed to be getting me one has the weekend or i'll be taking back the deposit he lives locally so he cant exactly hide from me, yes got the brakes sorted, and be as nosey as you like it, it could help in many ways especially if your mate is building one aswell, what do you mean by reducing the rear arches? i bought the van as a shell i'm just trying to make parts fit with the help of the guy who sold me it the whole van shell sits on a space frame chassis he built one seriously strong van he originally had a 4.6 fuell injection in it.

Asked if rear arches radiused not reduced.
Radiusing is when the arch is shaped to to follow the profile of the tyre closely so it looks an almost perfect fit.
I love tyres filling the opening properly and the wheel is centered. Some customs and hot rods show liitle thought for this and the whole package then looks odd to me.
cheers
Paul :D

to be honest when i seen the van i didn't really pay any attention to the rear wheels this was before it was for sale right enough and when i bought it it got lifted by a fork lift as there was no running gear on it we manhandled it on to axle stands in my garage, the running gear is there now but i still have no wheels for it yet but i'll be sure to let you see for yourself when i finally get it rolling and get pics updated, and thanks for teaching me about radiused wheels by the way cheers.

i have a range rover engine but fitting an sd1 gearbox so does it have to be a range rover flywheel as i was told there are other ones that fit that are lighter than the r/rover, i'm kind of new to the whole v8 scene so any hints and tips are mucho gratefull, cheers.

If you're fitting an SD1 box then assuming you have the SD1 bellhousing for it you need an SD1 flywheel.
