Just about there now.

She will be MOT'd on Monday.

What a relief. I just hope the bugger runs!!

Went for a short run (100 yds) and when I braked, grinding noise and she stalled. Bugger.

Found that I had raised the anti-roll bar about 2 mm and the front pully nuts were hitting. Turned bolts around and it seems to have worked.

She is in a garage in Baltimore now waiting for us to arrive to drive her around for a few weeks.

This may be the last time she is in one piece.

Gearbox broke the day before the wedding in Ottawa.

Wedding was fantastic and as our witnesses were the Ottawa MG Club they pointed me in the direction of an ex-Brummy (very nice man) to kindly gave me his LT77+parts (to be used to build his MGRV8) to use.

For 3 days after the wedding we removed the engine and rebuilt the 5th gear that had fallen apart due to the wrong Cir-clip being fitted  and she survived the next 2000 miles back to Baltimore.

The new wife was fantastic about it, one of the many reasons why we have been together for over 15 years. :D

I returned the box back to the MGOC when the car returned from the US and they sent it back to Holland where it had been built for check over.

The engine/box went back in yesterday. I have fitted vents now in the inner wings to give a bit of extra cooling.

She should be running before the holidays are over.

Back on the road again, at last :D

New vents seem to be keeping the running temp down but we will see what happens when the hot weather comes.

At last we can go to a few events. 3 so far booked including the Retro Show so we are looking forward to meeting some of you guy's in July.
